We wish to introduce you to BIMA, a medical association created by a group of renowned medical professionals, with extensive international reputation and solid academic and research background, who have joined efforts to consolidate Barcelona as an International Centre of Excellence in healthcare and in the area of health and human diseases.
The city of Barcelona has highlighted medical excellence, research and innovation as one of its mains strategic objectives, thus facilitating the emergence of some of the most important health&research centres in Europe. The modern transport facilities (airport, high-speed train) and the extensive hotel network of the city have also been essential to this emergence.
